Beechmore is a beautifully presented family home in a quiet location at the top of the village. A 5 minute walk brings you to the picturesque old harbour of Port Isaac or, in the other direction, to Port Gaverne, a pretty shingle cove. Stylishly and tastefully decorated, some of the rooms enjoy superb sea and coastal views towards Tintagel Head. With an enclosed grassy garden and parking for one car a short distance away, this self-catering property really is a luxurious and convenient seaside treat, sleeping 6 people in 3 boutique hotel-style bedrooms.
The kitchen/dining room is open-plan and generously proportioned. A vintage butcher's block gives an interesting contrast to the modern feel of the bespoke fittings. Relax in the sitting room to soak up gorgeous sea views and light the fire on a chilly evening. Upstairs a double bedroom enjoys a stunning ensuite bathroom with a free standing bath where you can luxuriate in the stunning sea views right from the tub. Two further rooms (one double and one twin) share a bathroom with sea views. Make time to enjoy these beautiful bathrooms and indulge in some holiday pampering.
Holidays in Port Isaac offer the chance to experience the beauty and history of this working fishing village with its beautiful setting in between sheer cliffs and pretty coves. Join the coast path for a challenging walk to Port Quin; owned by the National Trust, this serene cove is heavenly for swimming and kayaking at high tide. Nearby at Port Gaverne, accompany a coasteering group for a guided exploration of coves and cliffs or simply have a paddle or swim at this pebbly beach. Walk out onto 'The Main', this cliff to the right of the beach has a lovely aspect over the coastline and rocks below; a perfect picnic spot on a calm day. A mere 10 minute drive will bring you to stunning Polzeath beach, ideal for surfing and bodyboarding; Daymer Bay with its gentle waters perfect for smaller children; or Rock, renowned for its many water sports including sailing and water skiing, with a foot ferry across to Padstow.
Please note there are steep steps down to front door - care should be taken with children. Private parking space a short distance from the property.
