This attractive, slate and stone contemporary property is located at the top of the Port Isaac, on the North Cornwall coast, with fabulous views out to sea and along the coast. Port Gaverne's peaceful cove and Port Isaac's quaint fishing harbour are both a short walk down hill in opposite directions. With a sociable open-plan living area, a small sunny patio and parking for one car. Cockle Shell is an easy, convenient place to stay, perfectly suited to a small family, accommodating 4-6 people in 2 bedrooms.
Cosy underfloor heating and glossy kitchen with generous worktops make this open plan living room a lovely family room to relax in and appreciate those amazing views. Upstairs the bedrooms have ample storage space; the master bedroom has the luxury of a stylish en-suite shower room and enjoys lovely sea views; the twin bedroom has additional pull out beds to accommodate the 2 extra people.
Ideally located for easy access to the delights of Port Isaac and Port Gaverne, you can stroll along the scenic route around the cliff before ambling down Fore Street past interesting galleries and shops to the beautiful 14th century harbour of Port Isaac. The balcony of the Golden Lion pub is a wonderful elevated spot to sit and enjoy a drink while watching the fishing boats chug in and out past the impressive breakwater. Port Gaverne's shingle beach is lovely for paddling, swimming and kayaking on a calm day; after a refreshing dip or rousing hike on the coast path, refuel at the pub by the beach, the Port Gaverne Inn, serving ultra-fresh, coastal food.
