The master bedroom on one side of the living area provides plenty of storage space and is a calm and neutral space with chic furniture and an ideal space to rest your head, again featuring dual aspect windows so you can wake up to the countryside vista. Just down the lane you will find the kayaker's dream that is Port Quin which has lovely little rockpools when the tide is low that children will love. At high tide you can swim or snorkel in the bay, or why not get in touch with the local Cornish Coast Adventures of Cornish Rock Tors to join their paddleboard, canoe or kayak tours around the coast. South from here you will find the tiny but exquisite cove of Epphaven, with Lundy Bay lying just below it; undiscovered gems which are great for hiking to for low tide to escaping the crowds. The popular beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock are a mere 10 minute drive from Treveth Lowen and offer surf hire and fantastic waves, gentle shores and watersports facilities respectively; something for everyone on holiday with you. To finish off your day and stock up your fridge, why not pop into the local Trevathen Farm Shop in St. Endellion which offers fresh, local produce, a cafe and outside space for children to play; in the summer months it’s a must for strawberry picking – now you just need to return back to the house for your extravagant Cornish afternoon tea!
About the location
The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village.
