Seaward is a very bright, spacious and well appointed Edwardian terraced holiday house enjoying dramatic front line coastal views across Port Isaac Bay to Tintagel. The property can comfortably accommodate 7 people in 4 bedrooms or up to a party of 13 in 6 bedrooms if the rear wing is opened up (at an additional charge - please contact the office for details). Port Isaac's picturesque harbour is a short walk around the cliff and down the hill; the lovely shingle beach of Port Gaverne is also just a short stroll down the hill in front of the house. The village is Cornwall's new foodie paradise with Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, the 2019 Good Food Guide's Number 1 restaurant in the UK only a 200 yard walk door-to-door and Outlaw's Fish Kitchen just a short 5 minute walk.
Set in a quiet area of the village, Seaward has the benefit of a fully enclosed rear garden, a sunny patio with picnic table and private parking for 2 vehicles; all the facilities you need for a successful and relaxing family holiday.
The porch and hallway lead into the spacious, elegant sitting/dining room with its high ceiling, decorative coving, antique fireplace and wooden flooring; a large bay window looks out onto the panoramic sea views. A welcoming and practical kitchen, with its slate flagstone flooring and large range cooker is ideal for feeding a hungry crowd. Four bedrooms all enjoy an ensuite shower or bathroom; the two doubles also have glorious sea views. The rear wing (at additional charge) has a double room, a bunk room and a children's room with double futon with en-suite WC; all share a shower room.
With its stunning position just above Port Gaverne beach and around the corner from the centre of Port Isaac, Seaward is ideally located for easy exploration of this beautiful part of North Cornwall. Step out onto the coastal path for rugged hikes up and down cliffs and around coves; swim or paddle at Port Gaverne, kayak at Port Quin. 10 minute drive away, Polzeath is a buzzing surfer's paradise with a lively atmosphere and great waves for all abilities. Stay in the village for top notch restaurants, pubs, cafes and a chance to spot the 'Doc Martin' film crew or a listen to the local sea shanty singers 'Fishermen's Friends'. With so many activities on offer, a holiday in Port Isaac is a sure success for all the family.
