This luxury property oozes style enjoying a reverse-style layout, it is light, spacious and beautifully finished. This is an unforgettable waterfront holiday base for family and friends just a few minutes’ walk down to Polzeath village with its vast, sandy beach and great selection of shops and restaurants. 

Uniquely flexible, Slatewater is connected to another property, Backwater by a pedestrian gate that sits directly above. When combined, both properties can cater up to 12 guests, making this the perfect base for a large family get together or special occasion

Slatewater has just been newly developed with serious attention to detail and comfort.  Making the most of the views, the accommodation upstairs includes a stunning open plan kitchen and dining area with spacious living spaces all flooded with light from the floor to ceiling windows that open out onto a glass fronted terrace with fantastic outdoor dining opportunities.  The kitchen has been carefully thought out with high quality fitted units and a breakfast bar, great for cooking up a storm after an exhilarating day on the coast.  There is a large dining table and chairs to seat up to 8 people with plenty of comfy sofas to relax in front of the view and the spectacular, state of the art log burner.  There is a smart TV here and also a separate TV room at the back, perfect for a bit of time out.  

Downstairs there are four stunning bedrooms, three with their own access to the outdoor terrace with gorgeous views over Polzeath beach and out to sea.  The master bedroom has a 6ft super-king bed, a dressing area and the luxury of an ensuite shower room.  The second bedroom has a 5ft king bed and a beautifully appointed ensuite shower room.  Bedrooms three and four have 2'6ft, zip and link twin beds.  All bedrooms have their own TV.  There is a spacious family bathroom with a bath, separate shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Also downstairs is a useful utility room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a separate sink with access to the heated outside shower.  This is a great space to remove all your beach gear and get things ready for the next activity day ahead.

A perfect place for a Cornish seaside holiday, Polzeath hums with energy and atmosphere and ticks all the boxes. Fun for young children at low tide, rock pools are good for shrimping and crabbing; don’t forget your net and bucket. Surf schools teach the art of surfing, paddle-boarding and rent out boards and wetsuits. Join the coastal path at Polzeath for a rugged walk around Pentire Point and The Rumps: National Trust managed landscapes. Continue past beautiful Lundy Bay, and the beach of Epphaven, all the way to Port Quin, a tranquil cove, lovely to swim in at high tide. Stroll along the top of the cliff to Daymer Bay, a stunning walk; gaze down at the gullies and coves below; look across to Stepper Point headland and the old lifeboat station at Hawker's Cove.
