Located on the Polzeath side of Trebetherick, The Chalet, is the perfect coastal family holiday home just moments away from the popular beaches of Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Rock on the North Cornwall coast. The spacious sleeping accommodation includes 4 bedrooms to comfortably cater up to 8 guests with generous sized living areas and a private enclosed rear garden and patio area. The tranquil village of Trebetherick is away from the hustle and bustle of Polzeath although is still within very easy walking distance to explore the best of the North Cornwall coast.
Gated and enclosed from the main route between Polzeath and Daymer Bay, The Chalet welcomes you with plenty of parking where you can lock up and forget about the car for the week. There is even enough space for a boat if required. On arrival, you are greeted by the bright and relaxed social spaces including an open plan lounge and dining area, a separate sun room and the kitchen which has everything you need and more for holiday cooking. From the kitchen and the sun room, you can access the rear patio area and garden where you can enjoy lazy afternoons soaking up the sunshine with a favourite novel. All four bedrooms are linked by a hallway on the first floor. The light filled master bedroom boasts and en-suite shower room and patio doors out onto the balcony with rural views stretching across the farmland and The Point at Polzeath golf course. The double bedroom also shares access to the balcony where you can all enjoy a morning coffee before heading out to explore the North Cornwall coastline. A further double bedroom and a twin bedroom with views over the back garden share a family bathroom.
Situated on the Polzeath side of the ever-popular village of Trebetherick, famed for being the burial place of Poet Laureate, Sir John Betjeman, who wrote many a poem about the area. Take a stroll to the popular surfing beach of Polzeath, a great place to try your hand at a surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking followed by some sunbathing. Pull on your walking boots and tackle the surrounding coastal paths. You will find everything you need in Polzeath, including local food shops, clothing stores, art galleries and many seafront restaurants and pubs, ideal for family meals out. Daymer Bay can be found within 8-10 minutes walk and offers a long stretch of white sand and wonderful conditions for windsurfing or kitesurfing. A short drive away, the traditional fishing village of Port Isaac can be reached along with Rock on the Camel estuary and Padstow, just a short ferry ride away.
